The Vector is another product combining the design office of Bob Ames NA and Vanguard's Steve Clark. The Vector was designed for the speed and handling of the highest performance boats on the market, yet comfortable and forgiving enough for two intermediate sailors to enjoy.  

Modern double trapeze dinghies have generally fallen into two camps: speedy and nimble but too challenging for all but the very elite sailors, or accommodating to a wide range of skills, yet too heavy and slow to be truly thrilling.
